The Regeneration of Oriental Landscapes Marketing Center

The Regeneration of Oriental Landscapes

The Regeneration of Oriental Landscapes is a marketing center located in Ningbo, China. The design takes its clues from the islands of Meishan, where waterways cross in many directions. Curved lines shape the plan, and still and moving areas alternate. Outside, a bamboo forest sways and casts light and shadow into the rooms. Bamboo links the interior and the exterior, so the boundary between building, landscape and interior becomes soft. The minimalist principles of Song Dynasty aesthetics and modernism guide the whole space. The project was completed in November 2021.

Wonderland in the Alleyways Public Area

Wonderland in the Alleyways

Wonderland in the Alleyways is the interior design of a residential lobby in Taoyuan, Taiwan. The 274 square meter space is inspired by the atmosphere of a French cafe. Mild and cheerful colors are combined with ceramic tiles and metal details. Wood, stone, glass, ceramic and fabric balance sharp and soft surfaces. A vaulted glass ceiling in the hallway brings in natural light and draws the eye upward, which reduces the effect of the low ceiling. The ceiling pattern also divides the long space into sections, including a bar, an open seating area and a sun deck. Basalt stone walls and a grey ceramic floor complete the interior.
