The structure reduces the amount of material used, while the seat remains stable and comfortable in use. The seat surface and the legs are cut by computer controlled machining and then refined by hand polishing. The chair is delivered for assembly by the user. The form refers to Chinese ritual culture, in which sitting is understood as a courteous act. The chair measures 400 mm in width, 320 mm in depth and 430 mm in height.
