Wit

Wit is a convertible bag designed for everyday use. Wit can be carried in five ways: as a handbag, a shoulder bag, a crossbody bag, a backpack and a top-handle bag. The fluid and supple structure folds and unfolds into four silhouettes: folded, structured, slouchy and expanded. Two adjustable and detachable straps support each carrying mode. Two modular add-ons, an everyday bag insert and a laptop sleeve, can be used inside the bag or alone. The bag is made of cactus leather, a lightweight, durable and water-resistant plant-based leather alternative.

Shapes of Light

Shapes of Light is a series of woven cashmere scarves. The series includes three designs inspired by natural and urban scenes: the sunrise on the sea, building lights in the city at night, and soft moonlight in the evening. Illustration concepts were translated into geometric and minimal woven patterns to suit the requirements of weaving. Each scarf is dyed and woven in a Scottish mill, and the surface is raised with traditional hand-worked teasels for a soft finish. The aim is to turn a daily accessory into a wearable art piece.

Hitoe Fold Aria

Hitoe Fold Aria is a thin leather wallet designed for going out without a bag. A single layer structure keeps cards and coins from overlapping, so only four or five layers of leather meet. The wallet is about 9 mm thick and weighs about 33 grams when holding five bills and five cards. A triangular hook holds the stored cards and prevents them from falling out. Bills are inserted without folding, and a shallow coin pocket allows coins to be found quickly. Italian vegetable-tanned leather is used, and production takes place in Tokyo.

Luminare

Luminare is an evening handbag for women. The leather body is handmade in Italy, while the electronics are designed and assembled in San Francisco. The front panel holds a thin light box that makes interchangeable artwork glow softly from within. A single button on the back controls power and dimming, and a magnetic port allows recharging. The internal rechargeable battery lasts up to twelve hours and can also charge a mobile phone. The design joins art, fashion and electronics in one unified object.

Tokyo

Tokyo is a clutch bag made of high quality cow nappa leather with a mineral tanning. The surface carries a three-dimensional diamond structure that is hand embossed, bag by bag, with single forms instead of industrial machinery. The embossing method leaves the leather free of stitching, soft and flexible, while the relief pattern stays permanent. Hidden magnets at the sides gently shape the zipper for a clean finish. The zipper is hand cast in metal and black chromed. The clutch bag measures 22 by 7 by 11 centimeters.

BLunch is an insulated lunch bag designed for women with long working days. Two compartments keep food and personal essentials apart. A spacious insulated section with a central zip holds lunch or snacks, while a slim section with a top zip holds everyday items. A waterproof lining prevents leaks, and stitching across the fabric conceals the internal insulating textile. An external slip pocket is also provided. The bag is handcrafted in Italy from full grain leather and Italian woven fabric, chosen for texture and durability.

Maskeeper

Maskeeper is a temporary storage case for face masks, folded into a business card-sized package. Maskeeper is made of food grade polypropylene sheet, die-cut and folded for fast and low-cost production. The mask is placed on the open sheet and folded inside, so the mask surfaces stay covered and cross-contamination is reduced. Measuring 91 by 61 by 8 millimetres and weighing 10 grams, Maskeeper fits easily in a pocket. The design offers a neat and hygienic alternative to wrapping removed masks in tissue paper or envelopes at mealtimes.

Sharpshooter is a camera strap made for photographers who use single-lens reflex cameras. The upper shoulder section contains pressure-relief foam, covered with Italian calf hide on the outside and lined with suede fabric on the inside. The strap length is adjustable, which allows easier handling of the camera. A brass safety lock adds texture and further secures the camera. Tanned cowhide and Italian calf hide are used, and each strap is made by hand by skilled craftsmen in Taiwan. The strap is durable and can be adapted to all camera brands.

The designer committed to the motto "less is more" in this project and simplicity is one of her criteria for design. Having this idea, she confronts Piet Mondrian's checkered paintings and his way of thinking for simplicity which inspires her. The result is a puzzle bag with a sequence of main colors that each implies a special meaning and concept of life. The Bellativita came from a geometric shape of a circle with a sliced circle serving as a holding place. This bag can be used daily as well as for occasions. Which can be worn as a belt, backpack, and handheld.
