Laote Breweries
Laote Breweries is a packaging design for craft beer sold in 500 ml aluminium cans. The design centres on a detailed badge that refers to the history and tradition of a brewing family. The badge is intended to suggest careful hand brewing and to invite curiosity about the taste. Craft beer is made in small batches rather than through large industrial production. In China, industrial beer is widely available, so small batch brewing is seen as valuable. Spot colour printing is used on the cans to keep the badge clear and precise.
