Shaoxing is renowned as the Oriental Venice. The design team drew on the aesthetic of silk, integrating the poetic scenery of southern China with the stylish and ambience of Apennine peninsula, creating a modern space that leads a special lifestyle.
Continue readingThis package was created as a branding project for a floral artist. All of the brand's tools were created in a uniform gray color, which shows the true colors of the flowers. The packaging is designed in a simple achromatic color so as not to detract from the quality of the client artist's work. The symbol is based on the typography of a Japanese character meaning "flower", and all brand tools are created around this symbol. By using this "kanji" symbol, the client communicated to consumers its position as a Japanese floral artist.
Continue readingThe Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport Satellite Concourse is a key step in the expansion project of one of the most important aviation hubs in South China. The Satellite Concourse will support the growing needs of the airport and serve up to 22 million passengers per annum. Arranged on the airport’s central axis with Terminal 3 and the future Terminal 2, the buildings are efficiently connected by the Automated People Mover system, as well as the baggage handling and goods delivery systems.

The upward form echoes the excellent four-direction view from the air, with the plan of transform from square to windmill shape. The design partial cut corners taking the advantage of the Windmill-shape-volume, ensuring the comfort of the surrounding buildings, as well as the elegant overall tower image. The smooth streamlined volume implies the philosophical concept of flow and balance, while the gradient changing plan ingeniously and accurately solves the different program requirements.
